Meet Executive Chef Ronald Brandl
Ronald Brandl

The Executive Chef of the Radisson Seven Seas Voyager loves to cook! He has enormous amounts of administrative work and starts his day early to finish up daily paper work so he has the time to join his team and do some cooking!

Born in Austria, Chef Ronald gathered his culinary experience over the years in Tyrol, St. Moritz, Switzerland and South Africa. During his tenure at Trader Vic's he became fascinated with exploring the possibilities of fusion cooking. Taking elements from various cuisines, mixing them together in new ways while at the same time maintaining a unity of taste is, according to Chef Ronald, a reflection of a global community...and I think he finds it just plain fun!

The idea for the onboard Mediterranean Tapas/Antipasta buffet in La Veranda was inspired by his Italian girlfriend's mom whose cooking he adores and is quite different from the Austrian cooking he grew up with. It becomes obvious after spending some time with him, Chef Ronald Brandl loves food and cuisine from all over the world. His passion is clearly reflected in the diverse and innovative culinary experience onboard the Radisson Seven Seas Voyager.
